The Farmer TerrainGrip builds on the proven winter version of the Farmer boot, which has become one of our most popular models. In this version, we focused primarily on better traction on winter terrain and greater protection against snow and dirt. The result is a winter barefoot shoe ready for everyday city walks as well as hikes off paved paths.

• The TerrainGrip outsole—a 9mm flexible outsole (5mm base + 4mm tread) with a more pronounced tread pattern—provides better traction on snow, wet surfaces, forest trails, and unpaved terrain. It also adds a higher degree of cushioning and comfort while walking.
• Gusseted tongue – it is attached to the upper on the sides, which better seals the area around the instep and helps prevent snow, dirt, and small pebbles from getting inside.
• For winter conditions—the shoe’s design is tailored for everyday wear during the colder months, when wet sidewalks, snow, and unpaved trails are common.
• Realfoot Anatomical Fit – the distinctive wide toe box provides ample space for all five toes, including the little toe. This allows the toes to spread naturally and engage actively while walking.
